What is a Secondary Credit Number (SCN)?

Secondary credit number is separate from your social security number used to protect your Social Security number from Identity theft.

Where does the number come from?

 An independent third party.

How long does it take to receive the number?

Typically it takes 24-48hrs, but no longer than 72hrs.

What's the cost for a SCN?
Promotional Fee $500 (until December 15, 2014)

Is this legal? (all over the internet you can find sites that say Yes).
You can use the existing laws to your advantage for a change. Due to certain rights guaranteed by the 1974 US Privacy Act Title V (View The 1974 Privacy Act), you have the right to keep your Social Security Number private and not be denied service due to your refusal. The credit bureaus are not government agencies, so you do not have to give them your Social Security Number. To answer the question, YES if used properly. Thousands of people have done it over the past 30yrs and continue to do so.

Am I responsible for the debts on my old report?

Yes! We suggest not to use the SCN as a way to avoid any debt (defraud creditors) under your Social Security Number or E.I.N. You are responsible for all debts on your old report and debts incurred with your Credit Profile Number. You must remember that while you are rebuilding your credit, you must use your new SCN wisely. If you have had troubled credit in the past, don't repeat your mistakes.

Does SCN come from people that are deceased or incarcerated?

No...definitely not! Our SCN are clean numbers that aren't attached to anybody including the deceased, the incarcerated, and S.S.N

Is this file segregation?

No, definitely not! FILE SEGREGATION IS ILLEGAL!!! This isn't a program where we tell people to defraud their creditors or use E.I.N./T.I.N. to possibly gain new credit after filing bankruptcy. We encourage people to pay off their old debt. We educate our customers how to use their SCN wisely so that they don't make the same mistakes over again

Can you purchase more than one SCN?

No.

When filling out an application for example ( a department store), would I put the SCN in place of the S.S.N.?

Yes. Also, be sure to use the information you provided us with

Can you use the SCN Number to refinance on an auto or mortgage loan?

No. Due to the loan being in your Social Security Number or EIN, it would have to be refinanced the same way.

Can I use the SCN to rent an apartment?

Yes. We suggest establishing some credit before doing so. Reason being, most landlords want to see some kind of credit history to determine if you are a high risk or not

What will my new FICO Score be?

Your credit profile will be blank. You will need to reestablish your credit by applying for credit. We show you how to establish your first trade. It does take time to build your credit file. Applying for your first credit card will create a score...you should have a score within 30 days.

What can I use my new SCN Number for?
